Waris, the game’s token
Waris is the currency of Solwaris: you earn it by playing, stake it in duels, and spend it on crystals and items. It is also a token on the Solana blockchain, whose rules are written on-chain and can be checked by anyone. This page explains what it is, where it comes from, where it goes, and the rules around it. Its numbers are those of the game’s code.
In short
- A Solana token — one billion Waris created once; nobody can create more or freeze an account.
- The game’s currency — duel tables, the weekly boss, crystals, the shop: everything you pay for in the game is paid in Waris, except what is in USDC.
- Free or bound — Waris earned by playing are free, those the game gives you are bound: to play, not to withdraw, and they expire after 30 days.
- A cap every week — the game only takes a limited amount of Waris from its reserve each week, and that limit is written on-chain.
- Nothing is burned — spent Waris go back into the game and fund the rewards of the following weeks.
What Waris is
Waris (symbol WARIS) is a token on the Solana blockchain, created on 15 October 2026 with the Token-2022 program, the recent version of Solana’s token standard. Its record, as you can read it back on-chain:
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Name and symbol | Waris, WARIS |
| Token address (mint) | BAvAoVonDdS9VUp9rfRE7z3RWSskqJSxeSRapp5GRZxo |
| Total supply | 1,000,000,000 Waris, created at once |
| Decimals | 6: one Waris divides into one million units |
| Right to create new Waris | None: it was removed at creation |
| Right to freeze an account | None: nobody can lock the Waris in a wallet |
These two removed rights are what protect the supply: no Waris can ever be added to the existing billion, nor be locked by anyone other than its holder. You can check it yourself on Solscan: the supply there is one billion, and the “Mint Authority” and “Freeze Authority” fields are empty.
This is the official address, and it is published on the site’s Waris page. A token with the same name at another address is not Solwaris’s Waris.
What it is used for in the game
Waris is the currency for everything played and bought in Solwaris, apart from USDC. Your balance is shown in the top bar; clicking it opens the “My Waris” window, which breaks it down.
- Ranked duels — they are played with a stake, at four tables: 50, 250, 500 or 2,500 Waris. The winner takes back their stake and takes the loser’s, minus the fee (see the economy).
- The weekly boss — the Waris entry costs 50, 100, 200 or 500 Waris; it fills the prize pool shared at the end of the week among the best (see loot).
- Crystals and the shop — the Common Crystal, skins, weapons and auras are bought with Waris.
- The initiative auction — buying the first turn of a duel is paid in Waris.
What stays in USDC does not change: USDC staked matches, the USDC boss, the Legendary Crystal and the premium Battle Pass.
How you earn Waris
No Waris is created by the game: each one you receive comes out of a reserve set in advance, or out of another player’s pocket. They arrive free or bound depending on where they come from.
| Source | What it gives | Kind |
|---|---|---|
| Levels | Waris for each level reached (see loot) | Free |
| Daily quests | Waris for each of the three quests (see daily quests) | Free |
| The daily gift | Waris six days out of seven, a Common Crystal on the seventh | Bound |
| The Battle Pass | Waris on some tiers of the free track; the premium track gives crystals (see the pass) | Bound |
| Staked duels | The loser’s stake, minus the fee | Free |
| The weekly Waris boss | A share of the prize pool, for the top of the leaderboard | Free |
| Referrals | A share of the fee on your referrals’ winnings | Free |
| Staking | A yield every week, and a share of the shared pool (see staking) | Bound for the yield, free for the pool |
| New account | 100 Waris as a welcome, once | Bound |
| Crystals | Waris among their prizes | Like whatever paid for the crystal |
A win does not drop Waris as loot: the Waris from a duel are the loser’s stake. Training against the AI earns none.
How you spend them
- Duel tables — your stake is committed at the start of the match. Won, it comes back with your opponent’s; lost, it goes to the winner.
- The weekly boss — the entry goes into the week’s prize pool, shared among the best.
- Crystals — the Common Crystal is bought with Waris, one at a time or ten at once (see crystals).
- The shop — skins, weapons and auras. Equipped, these items lower the fee taken on your duel winnings, without changing anything in combat.
Bound Waris go first. When you stake or buy, the game first takes your bound Waris, oldest first, then your presale Waris not yet unlocked, then your free Waris. Your free Waris, the only withdrawable ones, are kept as long as possible.
Free, bound and staked
The “My Waris” window splits your balance into several parts. They do not come from the same sources and do not allow the same things.
| Kind | Play and spend | Withdraw to your wallet | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Yes, right away | Yes: winnings 7 days after you receive them, a deposit right away | Unlimited |
| Bound | Yes | No | They expire 30 days after you get them |
| Staked | No, while they are staked | No, while they are staked | They become free again when you leave staking |
- Free winnings mature — a free Waris earned by playing can be played again right away, but can only be withdrawn after 7 days. The “My Waris” window shows what can be withdrawn now, and the date when the rest will be. Waris deposited from your wallet can be withdrawn right away.
- A lost bound Waris becomes free — the stake you lose in a duel arrives free with the winner, whatever its kind was on your side.
- Bound Waris expire — staking a bound Waris in a duel and getting it back does not reset its clock. An expired bound Waris is not destroyed: it goes back into the game (see below).
- Staked Waris — only free or presale Waris can be staked. Staking rules have their own page: Waris and staking.
The weekly caps
The Waris the game gives — levels, quests, gifts, pass, events, staking — do not come from an open tap. They come from a reserve, and the game only draws a limited amount from it each week. The game week starts on Monday at midnight (UTC+2).
- At most 3,000,000 Waris per week — that is everything the reserve can release for rewards in a week, staking included. This limit is written on-chain, in the game vault (see the public vault).
- Game rewards — their cap grows with the number of active players: 200,000 Waris, plus 250 per active player that week, up to 2,000,000. An active player is one who has played enough duels against other players during the week.
- Staking — it has its own budget, of at most 1,000,000 Waris per week.
The rewards cap is split into budgets, one per main source:
| Budget | Share of the cap | What it pays |
|---|---|---|
| Gifts | 35 % | The daily gift |
| Levels and pass | 30 % | Levels and the Battle Pass |
| Quests | 20 % | Daily quests |
| Events | 15 % | The base prize pool of the weekly Waris boss, events |
An empty budget first borrows from the others. If all of them are empty, a reward can be refused until the following week, and the game tells you so. The current week’s caps — what has been issued, the cap, what has been released — are shown live on the Waris page.
Back into the game
Nothing is burned in Solwaris any more. Waris spent in the game do not disappear: they stay in the loop and come back to players.
- Spending — a Common Crystal, a shop item, an initiative bid outside a Waris duel: a share goes to Solwaris, most of it goes to recycling.
- Expired bound Waris — those not played within 30 days go to recycling too.
- Recycling pays first — each week, part of what has been recycled funds the game’s rewards before the reserve is drawn on. The reserve lasts longer that way.
The fee
On a staked duel, the fee is 25% of the loser’s stake, i.e. 12.5% of the pot: at the 500 table, the winner keeps their stake and receives 375 of their opponent’s 500 Waris. The winner’s equipped items bring it down to 10%. It goes to Solwaris, and the winner’s referrer, if they have one, gets a share of it: 5% of the stake won, taken from the fee and not added on top. The details are on the economy page.
How the billion is split
On 16 October 2026, the billion Waris was split between four vaults of a Squads multisig safe and the creator’s wallet. The starting balances:
| Vault | Starting Waris | What it pays |
|---|---|---|
| Player reserve | 699 000 000 | The Waris the game gives: levels, quests, gifts, pass, events, staking, welcome Waris |
| Prize pool | 100 000 000 | Crystal contents, refunded items, the conversion of the old coins |
| Market | 155 000 000 | Set aside for the day Waris has a trading market: planned, not open yet, no date |
| Margin | 45 000 000 | The unexpected |
| Creator’s wallet | 1 000 000 | The creator’s share |
These balances change: the reserve and the prize pool feed rewards week after week. Their current balances are read on-chain and shown on the Waris page; the public vault page explains how this vault works and how to check it.
The presale and the market
Waris cannot be traded yet: no market is open, and no date is set. Before it, a presale sells 10 million Waris at $0.0001 each, paid in USDC in the game: $10 to $100 per account, released in quarters from the market launch. Where and how to buy, and its live status: the Waris presale. Openings are announced in What’s new and on Discord. No market value of Waris is set or promised.
Waris bought in the presale can be played from purchase — stakes, shop, boss entries — and staked, but can only be withdrawn once unlocked: in quarters, from the market launch. Won by another player, they remain presale Waris.
Frequently asked questions
Is Waris a real token?
Yes: a Token-2022 token on Solana, at the address BAvAoVonDdS9VUp9rfRE7z3RWSskqJSxeSRapp5GRZxo. In the game, your balance is kept by the server and tied to your wallet; withdrawals send it to that wallet, as real tokens.
Can new Waris be created?
No. The billion was created at once, and the right to create more was removed in the same operation. You can check it on Solscan: the token’s “Mint Authority” field is empty.
Why do my bound Waris expire?
The game gives them to be played, not kept. After 30 days, those that have not been played go back to recycling, which funds the rewards of the following weeks.
How much is one Waris worth?
No market value is set or promised. Waris cannot be traded yet: no market is open.
