Waris and staking
Waris is the currency of Solwaris. This page covers the three kinds of Waris and what you can do with each, how to stake your Waris, what staking pays and on what conditions, and where deposits and withdrawals stand. Its numbers are the ones in the game code.
In short
- Three kinds of Waris — free, earned by playing and withdrawable 7 days after you earn them; bound, given by the game, for playing and not for withdrawing; staked, locked for staking.
- Staking — free Waris, staked for at least a week. Every week in which you have played enough duels, they pay bound Waris on a tiered schedule: 5% per week on the first 1,000, a lower rate for each following tier, 0.08% above 500,000, and up to double with loyalty.
- The weekly pool — what the yield did not use is shared among the stakers who met the activity, in proportion to what they staked, in free Waris.
- Nothing is promised — what staking pays depends each week on the game’s budget, the number of stakers and your activity.
- Deposits and withdrawals — reserved for testers for now. The minimum withdrawal is 3,000 Waris.
The three kinds of Waris
Your Waris balance, in the Wallet window of the menu, is split into three parts. They do not come from the same sources and are not used for the same things.
| Kind | Where they come from | What you can do with them |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Duels won, daily quests, levels, premium Pass track, weekly boss prize pool, referrals, stakers’ pool | Play them right away, stake them, and withdraw them to your wallet a week after earning them, once withdrawals open |
| Bound | Welcome Waris, daily gift, free Pass track, staking yield, contents of gifted crystals | Play them, not withdraw or stake them; they expire a month after you get them |
| Staked | Your free Waris, when you stake them | Nothing while they are staked: no spending and no withdrawal; they become free again when you leave staking |
- Bound Waris go first — when you spend or put up a stake, bound Waris are taken first, oldest first: your free Waris are preserved.
- A lost bound Waris becomes free — the stake you lose in a duel arrives free with the winner, whatever its kind was on your side.
- Expiry — a bound Waris expires 30 days after you get it. Putting it up as a stake and getting it back does not reset that counter. Expired bound Waris are not destroyed: they go back to the game’s recycling.
- What a crystal contains — it follows what paid for it: bound Waris for a crystal that was given or bought with bound Waris, free Waris for a crystal bought with free Waris or in USDC.
Staking your Waris
The green button in the menu, next to the Battle Pass and Crystals, opens the staking window; the “Stake” tab of the Wallet window leads there too. It shows what is staked, what already counts this week, the estimate of the next payout, your loyalty, the activity still to do, and every payout received, week by week. A simulator shows, for an amount you type in, what it would pay per week today and at maximum loyalty.
- Free or presale Waris — staked for at least a week, renewed automatically as long as you do not request exit. Presale Waris come back out as presale, on the same unlock schedule.
- They count from the following week — Waris staked mid-week count from the week after. The game week starts on Monday at midnight (UTC+2). Until then, you can cancel them, in part or in full, from the staking window: they return to your balance right away, exactly as they were, without earning anything.
- They stay yours — but while they are staked, they cannot be spent (no shop, crystals, stakes or boss) and cannot be withdrawn.
The yield
At the start of each week, staking pays a yield in bound Waris on what was staked throughout the past week, if that week’s activity is met. It follows a tiered schedule, as on trading platforms: each tier of the staked amount has its own rate, higher on the first Waris. For 1,500 Waris staked, the first 1,000 earn the first tier’s rate, the next 500 the second tier’s.
| Waris staked | Per week | At maximum loyalty (×2) |
|---|---|---|
| 0 – 1 000 | 5 % | 10 % |
| 1 000 – 5 000 | 1,5 % | 3 % |
| 5 000 – 25 000 | 0,6 % | 1,2 % |
| 25 000 – 100 000 | 0,3 % | 0,6 % |
| 100 000 – 500 000 | 0,12 % | 0,24 % |
| Above 500,000 | 0,08 % | 0,16 % |
Loyalty multiplies the whole, from ×1 to ×2 over 26 weeks. Each staked week with the activity met adds a week of loyalty; a week without activity does not count, and removes nothing; leaving resets it to ×1.
A few amounts, at the start and at maximum loyalty:
| Waris staked | Per week (×1) | At maximum loyalty (×2) | Average rate per week |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 000 | 50 | 100 | 5 % |
| 10 000 | 140 | 280 | 1,4 % |
| 100 000 | 455 | 910 | 0,455 % |
| 1 000 000 | 1 335 | 2 670 | 0,1335 % |
The yield is capped at 20,000 Waris per account per week. A shared budget pays it every week: if everything due exceeds it, everyone receives a pro rata share. The staking window shows the schedule, the tier you are in and your average rate; its simulator applies the schedule to the amount you type.
The required activity
Staking rewards those who play, not Waris that sit idle. Each week, you must have played a certain number of duels against different opponents; the staking window shows what is required and what you still need. Fights against the AI, boss fights and fights between linked accounts do not count.
The weekly pool
At the end of each week, what the staking budget did not pay out as yield forms a common pool. It is shared among eligible stakers — those whose Waris were staked since the start of the week and who met the activity — in proportion to their staked Waris. These Waris arrive free, and can be withdrawn 7 days later.
The share of the pool released each week depends on participation: the more eligible stakers and staked Waris there are, the bigger it is. What is not released is not paid out and stays in the reserve. The staking window shows the estimated pool, your estimated share and what you still need to qualify; these numbers change until the end of the week.
Leaving staking
“Leave staking” takes effect at the end of the week, or of the following week for Waris staked less than a week ago; the confirmation shows the exact date. Your Waris then become free again, and loyalty restarts at ×1. Until then, “Stay staked” cancels the exit, just like staking again.
What staking does not promise
No yield is guaranteed. What staking pays depends each week on the game’s budget, the number of stakers and your activity. It is paid in Waris, which cannot be traded yet and have no set value. The simulator in the window gives an estimate, not a commitment.
Deposits and withdrawals
Your Waris live in the game, on your account, tied to your Solana wallet. Deposits and withdrawals go between that wallet and the game, from the Wallet window, “Deposit” and “Withdraw” tabs.
- For now — they are reserved for testers. They will open to everyone later; no date is set.
- Withdraw — only free Waris earned more than 7 days ago can be withdrawn, to the wallet linked to your account, from 3,000 Waris and one withdrawal at a time. Bound and staked Waris cannot be withdrawn.
- Deposit — Waris sent from the wallet linked to your account are credited once the transaction is confirmed on the chain. They arrive free.
USDC, on the other hand, is not deposited: it stays in your wallet until the match (see the economy).
The presale and the market
Waris cannot be traded yet: no market is open, and no date is set. The presale takes place in the game; its live status and how to buy are on the Waris presale page. Openings are announced in What’s new and on Discord. The token’s official address is the one published on the Waris page: any other address is a counterfeit.
Waris bought in the presale can be played from purchase — stakes, shop, boss entries — and staked, but can only be withdrawn once unlocked: in quarters, from the market launch. Won by another player, they remain presale Waris.
Frequently asked questions
What is staking in Solwaris?
Staking free Waris locks them for at least a week. Every week in which you have played enough duels, they pay bound Waris on a tiered schedule, more generous on the first Waris, up to double with loyalty, and give you a share of the week’s common pool, in free Waris.
Is staking guaranteed to pay?
No. What it pays depends each week on the game’s budget, the number of stakers and your activity: a week without the required activity pays nothing. It is paid in Waris, which cannot be traded yet.
How do I take my Waris out of staking?
Request exit in the staking window. It takes effect at the end of the week, or of the following one for Waris staked less than a week ago. Your Waris become free again and loyalty starts again from ×1.
Can you withdraw your Waris to your wallet?
Not for everyone yet: withdrawals are reserved for testers for now. Only free Waris earned more than 7 days ago can be withdrawn, from 3,000 Waris, to the wallet linked to the account.
Why can’t my bound Waris be withdrawn?
They are given by the game: they are for playing, not for withdrawing, and they expire 30 days after you get them. Lost in a duel, they arrive free with the winner.
When will the Waris presale and market open?
No date is set for the market: until then, Waris cannot be traded. The presale status, open or not, is shown live on the Waris presale page. Openings are announced in What’s new and on Discord.
