Waris: every question
The questions players ask most often about Waris, the Solwaris token: what it is, how you earn and spend it, free and bound Waris, deposits and withdrawals, the vault and its transparency. Each answer points to the guide page that explains it in detail.
The token
What is Waris?
The currency of Solwaris, and a token on the Solana blockchain (symbol WARIS). You earn it by playing, stake it in duels, and spend it on crystals and items. See Waris, the game’s token.
What is the official Waris address?
BAvAoVonDdS9VUp9rfRE7z3RWSskqJSxeSRapp5GRZxo, on Solana. It is the only one: it is published on the site’s Waris page, and any token with the same name at another address is a fake.
How many Waris are there?
Exactly one billion, created at once on 15 October 2026. The right to create more was removed: nobody, the creator included, can ever add any.
Can anyone freeze my Waris?
No. The token has no freeze authority: no wallet can be locked. On Solscan, the Waris “Freeze Authority” field is empty.
How much is one Waris worth?
No value is set or promised. Waris cannot be traded yet: there is no market where you can buy or sell it.
When will the presale and the market open?
No date is set for the market. The presale status, open or not, is shown live on the Waris presale page. Openings are announced in What’s new and on Discord.
Where and how do I buy in the presale?
In the game, on solwaris.com: tap the “Presale” button on the menu, which opens the presale window (or your Waris balance at the top right, “Presale” tab of “My Waris”). You need an account linked to a Solana wallet and USDC in that wallet; if the game asks, sign a spending approval for the exact amount, then buy. Waris costs $0.0001 there, $10 to $100 per account, out of 10 million in total. The Waris you buy arrive in your in-game balance and are released in quarters from the market launch: 25% that day, then 25% each week. A purchase is not refunded. Details and live status: the Waris presale.
Are spent Waris burned?
No, nothing is burned any more. A share of the Waris spent goes to Solwaris, most of it goes to recycling, which funds the rewards of the following weeks before the reserve. See back into the game.
Earning and spending
How do I earn Waris?
By playing: levels, daily quests, duels won at a stake table, the weekly boss prize pool, referrals. The game also gives some: the daily gift, the free pass track, the staking yield, welcome Waris. See how you earn Waris.
Do you earn Waris against the AI?
No. Training against the AI earns neither Waris nor experience: it is for learning.
Does a win drop Waris as loot?
No. The Waris from a duel are the loser’s stake, minus the fee. A win can also drop a crystal (see loot).
What are Waris for?
To stake at duel tables, to enter the weekly Waris boss, to buy Common Crystals, skins, weapons and auras, and to buy the first turn of a duel. See what it is used for.
What does the winner of a staked duel get?
They take back their stake and take the loser’s, minus the fee: 25% of the loser’s stake, brought down to 10% by their equipped items. See the economy.
Is there a limit to the Waris the game hands out?
Yes: each week, the reserve releases at most 3,000,000 Waris for rewards and staking, and that limit is written on-chain. See the weekly caps.
Why can a reward be refused?
When the week’s cap is reached and every budget is empty, a Waris reward can be refused until the following week. The game tells you when it happens.
Free, bound and staked
What is the difference between free and bound Waris?
Free Waris are earned by playing: they can be played, staked and withdrawn. Bound Waris are given by the game: they can be played, but not withdrawn or staked, and they expire 30 days after you get them.
Are my bound Waris spent first?
Yes. A stake or a purchase first takes your bound Waris, oldest first, then your presale Waris not yet unlocked, then your free Waris: your free Waris, the only withdrawable ones, are kept.
What happens to a bound Waris lost in a duel?
It arrives free with the winner. The kind of a Waris does not follow the stake: everything the winner gains is free.
What happens to my bound Waris after 30 days?
Those that have not been played expire and go back to recycling, which funds the rewards of the following weeks. The “My Waris” window shows the date of your next expiry.
Why can’t I withdraw the Waris I won right away?
Free winnings can be played again right away, but can only be withdrawn after 7 days. Waris deposited from your wallet can be withdrawn right away.
Can I stake my Waris?
Yes, free Waris, from the green button in the menu. While they are staked, they cannot be spent or withdrawn. Staking rules have their own page: Waris and staking.
Wallet, deposit and withdrawal
Which wallet should I use?
Phantom, Solflare or Backpack, or any recent Solana wallet that can sign a message. See create your account with a wallet.
Are deposits and withdrawals open?
For now, they are reserved for testers, and will open to everyone later, with no date set. The “Deposit” and “Withdraw” tabs of “My Waris” tell you whether they are open for you.
What is the minimum withdrawal?
3,000 Waris per withdrawal, one withdrawal in progress at a time, to the wallet linked to your account.
Who pays the fees of a withdrawal?
The game: the transaction fees and, if your wallet has never received Waris, the creation of the token account that holds them. A deposit, on the other hand, is a transaction from your wallet: its network fees, tiny, are on you.
How long does a withdrawal take?
Usually less than a minute: your Waris leave your balance right away, and the transaction is finalised on Solana shortly after. The “Being checked” status means the game is waiting to know whether it went through; if not, your Waris are credited back.
Can I withdraw to a wallet other than mine?
No. A withdrawal goes to the wallet linked to your account, and only to it.
Can I change my account’s wallet?
No: a linked wallet cannot be unlinked. Another wallet opens another account. To move Waris, withdraw them to the old wallet, send them to the new one, then deposit them. See changing wallets.
Can Solwaris ask me for my secret phrase?
Never. Neither the game nor the team needs it. Anyone who asks you for it is trying to take your wallet. See keeping your wallet safe.
Can I deposit or withdraw from the Discord Activity?
No: there is no real money in the Discord Activity. Deposits and withdrawals are done on solwaris.com.
The vault and transparency
Where are the game’s Waris kept?
In a Squads multisig vault on Solana, divided into four vaults: player reserve, prize pool, market and margin. Their addresses and balances are public. See the public vault.
Can the server take all the Waris in the vault?
No. It can only draw within two limits of 3,000,000 Waris per week, one on the reserve, the other on the prize pool, and only to the game’s distribution wallet. Solana rejects everything else.
How can I check that the game is telling the truth?
On the Waris page, the “Live” block reads back from the chain the vault balances, the limits and the latest draws, with their Solscan links. See check everything yourself.
